Description
Day 1 Bagdogra - Phuentsholing (900m)
Arrive Bagdogra Airport and proceed by car/mini coach to Phuentsholing, passing through the Indian territory. You will be met by our representative who will escort you to Phuentsholing, the border town, for overnight stay at Hotel at Phuntsholing.

Day 2 Phuentsholing to Paro (2,280m)
Leave by car/mini coach to Paro. In the afternoon, a drive through the Paro valley brings you to Drukgyel Dzong (25 KM from the Hotel). On the way, see the 7th Century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest monasteries in Bhutan. From the Sartsham Chorten you can get a view of Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Lhakhang, perched on a sheer rock face. Also visit the Paro dzong and the National Museum located in Ta Dzong to see a collection of old Thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons and artifacts.

Day 3 Paro to Thimphu (2,320m)
In the morning, drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan and check-in to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Memorial Chorten built in memory of late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, father of the modern Bhutan. And thereafter, a short drive to BBs tower to have a nice view of the valley, and en route stop at Motithang mini zoo to see the national animal, Takin. Then, you will visit the Handicraft Emporium displaying traditional products; the Fine Arts Centre (school for Thangkha paintings); the Traditional Medicine Institute and the Tashichhodzong . This Dzong can be visited only after office hours.

Day 4 Thimphu - Punakha – Wangdiphodrang (1,300m) - Thimphu
A three hour drive over the spectacular Dochula Pass (3,100 m) will bring you to Punakha Dzong, which was once the seat of the old capital of Bhutan and winter residence of Je Khenpo (Head Abbot). The Dzong is sprawled between Pochu and Mochu River. After lunch, a short journey (40 minutes) brings you to Wangdiphodrang Dzong on a hill over the junction of Puna Tsangchu and the Drangchu. Return to Thimphu and overnight at hotel.

Day 5 Thimphu to Paro
In the morning, you will visit the vegetable market, and later, take the opportunity to watch a traditional archery game being played. Visit the textile museum and the folk heritage museum. Have your lunch in Thimphu and proceed to Paro, with a visit en route the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest in Bhutan, now a Traditional School specialising in Dzongkha and religious studies.
Day 6 Depart Paro
You will be taken to Paro Airport by our representative for your flight to your onward destination and wish you happy journey back home.
