Drive to the Northern Tip of Borneo on this day tour form Kota Kinabalu. Stop by and visit a Rungus longhouse and observe their way of living. See how "Gong" is made by the locals and at the same time, visit a honey bee farm. Enjoy a traditional Rungus lunch.

Meet and pick-up at your hotel lobby and transfer to Kudat, for our trip to the Tip of Borneo. The journey will take approximately 3 hours from Kota Kinabalu city, driving through scenic countryside, paddy fields, villages, oil palm plantation; local stalls selling handicraft and food items. Along the way, we will make a brief stop at a peanut's stall, before visiting a modern long house village at Sikuati. This gives you the opportunity to mingle with the local natives and to take photos with them.

We will be scheduled to arrive at the Tip of Borneo at around 11.30 AM. The Tip of Borneo, also known as Tanjung Simpang Mengayau means 'lingering junction' as it is here that the South China Sea lingers and meets the Sulu Seas flowing from the east and is extremely popular among the locals. Stroll along the beach, feast on the breathtaking views of the dramatic rocky outcrop and experience incomparable fascinating scenery of long stretch white sandy beach. 

Later, proceed to the Bavanggazo Village for a longhouse visit. Built entirely using local materials, it is home to the Rungus people community, a sub-tribe of the indigenous Kadazandusun. Observe their very own unique bead works, lifestyle and costumes. A traditional native lunch will be served in Rungus style. 

We will then visit "Gong" making village, well known for its "Gong" making skill by its local artisan and finally Honey Bee Farm. You will be able to observe how a bee farm is managed a chance to get a taste of raw honey straight from the honeycomb!

Approximately 3.00 PM,  head back to Kota Kinabalu and bid farewell to Kudat.
