Description
Believed to be formed by a volcanic eruption over a hundred years ago, Pulau Tiga was essentially unknown to the world until it became a household place name in America, much thanks to the reality TV series, "Survivor". Pulau Tiga, when translated means Island of Three. The name is derived from three undulating humps visible from a distance when approaching the island. This untouched piece of natural playground with a beautiful landscape and a bountiful marine life is now open for discovery and stay.
Join us on a full day tour from Kota Kinabalu to Pulau Tiga. You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu city center and depart to Kuala Penyu jetty, about 1.5 hours drive from the city.
We will then take a 25-minute boat ride from the jetty to the island. On the island, take the opportunity to visit Snake Island and later, enjoy snorkelling in the clear waters.
After lunch we will then trek to the mud volcano, where you can soak youseld into the pool of therapeutic volcanic mud.
We will depart from the island at around 3.30 PM. You are scheduled to arrive Kota Kinabalu city at approximately 6.00 PM.
