In Barcelona, history and traditions go hand in hand with emerging fashion and new trends in cuisine, culture and art. Experience a day out seeing some of Barcelona's greatest and most beeautiful landmarks.

 

Morning

Your morning will begin  in the historic center, visiting places such as Via Laietana, the cathedral and its cloister, the Gothic Quarter and Plaça Sant Jaume. Following this immersion in traditional Barcelona, we approach the place of key change in the city.

With the hosting of the Olympic Games, Barcelona opened itself up to the sea and experienced economic and social invigoration. We will immerse ourselves in an era of change when passing by the Olympic Village, Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, Olympic Port, Palau Sant Jordi, the Calatrava Tower and then climb up to Montjuïc for a fantastic view of the city.

 

We will visit to El Poble Espanyol (the Spanish Village), collection of traditional buildings from all over Spain, demonstrating a selection of the handcrafts made in country and providing the opportunity to taste the famous Catalan cava. And what better way to end the your morning tour than with an aerial view of Barcelona from the cable car, which brings us to Montjuïc’s Castle in 15 minutes. 

 

Lunch
Your morning session of the tour will end at the agency/local operator office. You will then have your own free time for lunch.  If you have selected our Tour Option with Lunch, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at Hard Rock Café (5 min walk from the agency/local operator office). 
This lunch includes Choice of Main Course: Hard Rock Burger/Hard Rock Cheeseburger/Veggie Burger/Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich. Choice of Beverage: Soft Drink, Coffee or Tea.
 

Afternoon
Your afternoon tour will start 3.30 PM (please arrive at meeting point, at the agency/local operator's office, at 3.15 PM). This part of the tour will expose you to the best of Modernism in Barcelona and the famous architecture of Antoni Gaudí who lived in Barcelona.

Gaudí, one of the greatest innovators of his time, has left behind numerous treasures for the discerning tourist to discover in Barcelona: Sagrada Família Basilica where we will do an exterior walking tour, richly and symbolically decorated. Then enjoy a 30 minute visit at Gaudí's bizarre Park Güell, on the hill of El Carmel.  

 

Our tour continues to Passeig de Gràcia to see some Gaudí's famous apartment buildings including La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. Take the opportunity for some phot sessions in front of the buildings.

 

The tour concludes near the Casa Batlló at Passeig de Gràcia 43.
